What is Reiki?

Reiki, which means “Universal Life Force Energy”, is a Japanese Energy Healing Technique, often described as Palm Healing, and is considered to be a form of Alternative Medicine. The word “Rei” refers to the Higher Intelligence of the Universe that permeates all things, and the word “Ki” refers to the Life Force Energy that flows into all living things. Like Acupuncture, Reiki is based on the belief that Life Force Energy circulates through everyone, and that energy blockages, imbalances or stagnations can cause diseases and pain. Reiki facilitates the transfer of Life Force Energy to a person, thus promoting vitality and healing. 

The practitioner channels the Universal Life Force Energy through their Crown Chakra, which then comes out of their hands, and is transferred into the subject’s body by placing the hands on different parts of the body. The energy activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which regulates blood pressure, heart rate, and respiration, and promotes peristalsis and the process of digestion, thus assisting in promoting a deep relaxation, and boosting the immune system, by activating the body’s ability to heal itself. 

Reiki helps to release negative energy such as stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, emotional/mental/physical/spiritual blocages and imbalances, traumas, physical pains and aches, confusion, and repressed emotions. It also helps to heal the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies (energy field), and activate Spiritual Consciousness. It balances the chakras (energetic vortexes), in order for the Life Force Energy to flow better in the body. It also supports mental clarity and restores balance and holistic well-being. It has been reported that Reiki promotes better sleep, improved mood, better digestion and bowel movements, mental clarity, lightness, sensations of joy and happiness, stronger intuition, improved meditation, clear visions, increased love and compassion, and more. 

While Reiki does not cure diseases, it definitely helps the body to facilitate healing through a deep state of relaxation, which decreases stress responses. 

Know that if you do this type of work without being initiated, you are not a channel transmitting Life Force Energy from the Universe, but you are giving away your own, so it is important to get initiated. This course will change your life, not only because it will heal you, but also because it will help with your Inner Development, with developing your own Spiritual abilities, with increasing Unconditional Love and Compassion for yourself and other, with becoming the best version of yourself, and more. Reiki First Level

Personal Level

This level is for all beginners, and even for those who have had their level one for a long time but want a refresher due to lack of practice. This level is the Personal Level, therefore it will allow you to do self-treatments before you can eventually practice on others. This level connects your spirit to your body. It helps you connect to your Inner Self so you can let your authentic self arise. It brings harmony and peace in all your different bodies and dimensions. We will cover:

  • History of Reiki

  • The 5 Fundamental Principles of Reiki

  • The effects and benefits of Reiki

  • Hand positions

  • The Chakra System & Chakra Harmonization

  • The Meridian System

  • Self/Chair/Table treatments

  • Treatments on past, present, future Karma

  • Treatments on children, animals, plants

  • Breathing and Energy cleansing techniques

  • 4 initiations

Duration: One day

Prerequisite: None

Objective: Feel the energy in your hands, give yourself treatments, give treatments to your loved ones, your plants, animals, and children, independently. Please allow minimum 3 months in between Level 1 and 2 in order to get familiar with the energy, develop the sensitivity of your hands, acquire experience, and simply discover the different things it can do in your life.

 

Reiki Second Level

Practitioner Level

This level is to become a practitioner. This level focuses essentially on the mental and emotional planes. It reinforces the capacity to channel and emit Reiki energy. You will be introduced to 3 symbols which you will be able to use for self treatment and treatment on others. You will also be introduced to Distant Reiki, and how you will be able to treat the past, present, and future with the energy, since it knows no time and space.

  • Revision of Level 1

  • The 3 symbols and their use

  • Distant Reiki

  • Treatment on situations

  • Treatment on the mental and emotional

  • Harmonizing Technique

  • 2 initiations

Duration: One day

Prerequisite: Reiki Level 1

Objective: Feeling the Reiki Energy more intensely, integrating the 3 symbols, working deeper on the mental and emotional. Please allow 4 months before doing Level 3, in order to get familiar with the energy, develop the sensitivity of your hands, acquire experience, and simply discover the different things it can do in your life.

 

Reiki Third Level

Teacher Level

This level is the teacher level. The methods taught will allow you to work deeper on yourself and connect with your Higher Self. You will be introduced to the 4th symbol, which reveals the nature of the buddha. It connects you to the Supreme Light. You will learn how to teach and initiate others at the 1st and 2nd levels. We will cover:

  • Revision of Level 1 and 2

  • Introduction to the 4th symbol

  • The spiritual dimension of the 3rd degree

  • Methods to initiate at the 1st and 2nd level

  • 1 initiation

Duration: One day

Prerequisite: Level 2

Objective: Learning how to initiate others at the 1st and 2nd levels. Integrating the 4th symbol. Please allow 5 months before doing Level 4, in order to get familiar with the energy, develop the sensitivity of your hands, acquire experience, and simply discover the different things it can do in your life.

 

Reiki Fourth Level

Master Teacher Level

This level is the Master Teacher level, which completes the Usui Reiki path. It is the highest level of traditional Reiki. It is meant for those who wish to teach and initiate at all 4 levels. We will cover:

  • Revision of Level 1, 2 and 3

  • Introduction to a Tibetan symbol

  • Introduction to the Antahkarana symbol

  • Water Ritual

  • Methods to initiate at the 3rd and 4th levels

  • 1 initiation

Duration: One day

Prerequisite: Level 3

Objective: Be one with the Light, receive all tools to teach and initiate at all levels. Please allow 5 months before doing Level 4, in order to get familiar with the energy, develop the sensitivity of your hands, acquire experience, and simply discover the different things it can do in your life.
